Mayor welcomes new businesses to the city

IMG_0249The City of Auburn and the DeKalb Chamber Partnership welcomed two new businesses to the community within the past week with official ribbon cutting ceremonies.

Both new businesses are located within the Kroger Plaza and provide vital services to the community.

Supercharged Speedsters CrossFit, 1013 W. Seventh Street celebrated its opening April 13 while Audiology Always, 1045 W. Seventh Street celebrated its opening April 20.

Auburn Mayor Mike Ley was on hand for both celebrations to welcome the businesses to the community and take part in the ribbon cutting ceremonies.

Supercharged Speedsters CrossFit offers personalized training to help local residents meet their fitness goals. The gym offers CrossFit group classes, personalized programming and nutrition coaching in an effort to influence a healthy lifestyle within the community.

The business’ website states that its trainers take each individual’s fitness goals seriously.

“We understand that losing weight and gaining muscle can be challenging, and our goal is to help you overcome hurdles and reach your goals,” the site says.

Audiology Always owned by Dr. Lindsey Koble offer a variety of hearing services to the community.

Dr. Koble, a native of Garrett, completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Purdue University and obtained her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Illinois Champaign.

Her practice offers a variety of services including diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid selection and fitting, hearing aid repair, tinnitus management, hearing protection guidance, earwax removal and electroacoustic analysis and real ear measurement.
